Rooted in Cluj-Napoca since 1997
A volunteer-run, non-profit association devoted to bridge, strategic thinking and community fellowship.

Our history
The association was formally registered in 1997 (NRN 433/A/1997) by a small circle of players who had been meeting informally in Cluj-Napoca for years. Their aim was simple: to give the city a permanent, open and well-organised home for duplicate bridge.
Through the 2000s the club grew steadily, introducing regular scored sessions, hosting its first regional tournaments and establishing teaching courses for newcomers. Many of today's members first learned the game at those early Tuesday evening classes.
Today the club remains true to its founding principles while reaching out more widely, with youth academies, outdoor demonstrations and events that bring together generations of players.

Core values
Fair play
We follow the Laws of Duplicate Bridge and uphold courtesy and ethics at every table.
Openness
Membership is open to everyone, regardless of age, background or level of play.
Learning
Every member is both a student and, in time, a teacher of the game.
Fellowship
We value the friendships formed across the table as much as the results.
